Stephen Mulhern's Saturday Night Takeaway fall leaves fans concerned as Ant and Dec give update

Stephen Mulhern sparked concern from ITV viewers on Saturday Night Takeaway viewers after taking a tumble during the show's finale in Florida.

Having just been confirmed as the host of the Deal or No Deal reboot, Stephen joined his Takeaway colleagues Ant and Dec for the 90 minute live end of series special and, having been adjudicator for every round of Ant vs Dec so far this year, was back as referee as the presenters took each other on in one last battle.

The In for a Penny star headed around the Islands of Adventure theme park with the Geordie hosts for a number of tasks, with them going into the final live round neck and neck, meaning there was everything to play for.

Victory eventually went the way of Dec, with him scoring a convincing 5-1 win over Ant. Ant was far from impressed at losing for the second year in succession and, after he suffered his first punishment, of a huge pie to the face, tried to cover Stephen as well.

As he tried to get away, viewers at home saw Stephen fell to the floor, before the show cut away to Star Guest Announcer, Nicole Scherzinger.

Around half an hour later, Stephen returned to join Ant and Dec on camera and Ant remarked: "Now Stephen, you had a bit of a fall earlier on when I grabbed you. Are you OK?"

Stephen replied: "Can I just say? I'm absolutely fine, but my knees...on this stage...it's hotter than the earth!"

After Dec told him that 'people online were concerned,' Stephen replied: "Are you serious? They care for me?"

Ant responded: "They do care, so we're glad you're OK," before changing tact to show and action replay of the incident.
