Stephen Mulhern appears to have horrified his followers as he showed off his 'new look' on social media. The presenter is currently being tipped to replace Phillip Schofield on Dancing on Ice after it was announced that the TV star had quit This Morning with 'immediate effect'.
The news was announced on Saturday (May 20) and Phillip said in a statement that the programme had 'become the story' and that he wanted to "do what I can to protect the show that I love" after rumours were rife that he and Holly Willoughby were 'barely speaking' behind the scenes amid a 'rift' between the pair.
With Phillip and Holly's 14-year stint hosting This Morning together now over, question marks now hang over their partnership on Dancing on Ice. If the partnership was to come to an end, it would signal the conclusion of the duo’s 17-year reign hosting the ITV skating competition having joined forces in 2006, three years before Holly replaced Fern Britton on This Morning.

Catchphrase host Stephen has previously been tipped for Dancing on Ice having spent years presenting children's TV alongside Holly and having stepped in for Phillip on the reality show before.
But back to Stephen and his new look as taking to Instagram on Monday (May 22), the TV star, 46, appeared to be channelling a different persona as he posed in a satin, diamante encrusted suit and a brunette wig.
"I’ve decided this is all I’m going to wear from now on! Hope you’re all having a lovely Monday!" he captioned the post before adding: "#IFAP," suggesting it was part of his role on his ITV show, In For a Penny.
And it didn't take long for his followers to flock to the comments section. Make-up artist Lisa Armstrong, who is also the ex-wife of Ant McPartlin was among the first to comment, writing: "Jesus wept!!!!…."
@tcd_1234 said: "Lol, you might wanna rethink that Steph, men have been jailed for wearing gear like that!" @plain_life_80 replied: "My eyes can never unsee this! Thank you, scared for life." @penny.vickers2 quipped: "What's worrying is he suits it haha." @kelly_anne0210 added: "@stephenmulhern I don’t know how I feel about Monday now I’ve seen this bad boy!"
Others, however, said they 'loved it' and were wondering if he was channelling Elvis, Jimmy Osmond, or David Cassidy, who were just a few of the names littered into the comments section.
