There's an old saying "the apple does not fall far from the tree" and that certainly seems to ring true in the case of Republic of Ireland manager Stephen Kenny's son Eoin. He almost scored an exquisite 'Rabona' goal whilst playing for the national side's under-18's team at the weekend.
The Dundalk man came on for the second half of the friendly match against Australia and opened the scoring before Brian Cunningham sealed the win with a late winner.
Kenny showed his quality with the stunning chipped effort that rebounded off the crossbar and out of play.
