Stephen Bear 'dumped by Tia McAlister' after she slams twins pregnancy hoax

Stephen Bear has reportedly been dumped by Tia McAlister after he shared a pregnancy scan of twins that later emerged to be a hoax.

The 31-year-old reality star was criticised by his former partner, 18, after he jokingly suggested to fans that they were expecting twins.

Bear was swiftly slammed by followers at the time for the 'sick' hoax.

According to The Sun, Tia now wants nothing to do with the controversial star and has even blocked his number.

A source close to the influencer told the publication that she was concerned about her reputation.

The insider said: "It turns out there weren’t ever official... but they had a big argument last week, and now Tia wants nothing to do with him.

"She said it’s because he’s ruined her reputation and dragged her name through the mud in the influencer world.

The source added that she had lost followers and work opportunities because of her ties to Stephen.

"Nobody wants to work with her because she’s been connected to him and that she has lost followers and work from it all. She is absolutely livid about his recent pregnancy stunt and has blocked his number."

A representative for Stephen Bear has been approached by The Mirror for comment.

Earlier this week, Bear shared the ultrasound image of twins on his social media page, saying: "Wasn't expecting 2. Think it's time I should I grow up."

He later revealed that it had been an elaborate hoax and he was just 'having a laugh'.

"I thought I'd do a little tweet, just having a laugh. I got this picture on Google, like a picture of twins. I thought I'd lighten up everyone's mood today," he said at the time.

Bear was slammed by fans after revealing that the baby scan had been a joke.

Tia also took to social media to reveal that she did not condone what had been shared.

"I don't condone what's been posted and I certainly don't have any control over what other people post that's their choice!" she wrote.

"I don't understand why my name has once again been dragged into a situation that is out of my control... it's not fair."
