Stephen A. Smith and Charles Barkley will be working together as part of the NBA’s in-season tournament, and based on a video shared by Smith on social media, he’s clearly very excited.
Smith and Barkley are two of the most beloved basketball commentators on television, but their network affiliations (Smith with ESPN, Barkley with Turner Sports) have mostly prevented them from being together on the same broadcast. But that all changes with the in-season tournament semifinal coverage on Thursday, which brings together ESPN and TNT personalities for a split doubleheader. That means you’ll see Chuck on ESPN and Smith on TNT.
This has the chance to produce some tremendous content, and Smith is clearly excited about it. Bleacher Report shared a hilarious video edit of Smith and Barkley comparing the two to the Kobe and Shaq Lakers, and Smith shared the clip on social media.

Fans were excited about the collaboration before, but the promotional video takes things to another level. The pregame show content may be even better than the games themselves.
