The Dubliner married her long-time partner and fellow footballer Dean Zambra in an intimate ceremony in front of friends and family at the Tulfarris Golf Resort in Wicklow during the summer.
Speaking about their relationship since the wedding, she joked : "I haven't seen him in a while now because I've just been so busy since we got back. We had our honeymoon at the end of the season. Obviously football always gets in the way so football finished the end of October, we went on our honeymoon. We went to Dubai for four nights and then on to Thailand so it was lovely, a lovely break.
"We met through friends really. We're together since we're 18 so a long, long time ago. It actually was Bebo. I believe he done my quiz on Bebo. For people who don't know Bebo, before Facebook Bebo was the main thing.
"On Bebo you done a quiz. I had a football quiz on my Bebo and he done it. One of my questions was who was the highest leading goalscorer in Irish history. He obviously said Robbie Keane, but Olivia O'Toole was the answer and that's where it started."
Meanwhile, Roche is hopeful of being in contention for a place in Vera Pauw's World Cup squad next summer to travel to Australia and New Zealand.
She added: "I've been on standby for the squad the whole way through. I got back in for the Georgia game so I'm still in and around the squad. Our season obviously starts in March after I finish up here [Dancing with the Stars]. I'll be looking to put all focus into the season and then hopefully coming up into July I'll be able to put myself in the mix and impress during the season.
"I have to be [optimistic]. I think as a sportsperson it can go either way."
