In the third round of the Evian Championship, Stephanie Kyriacou from Australia showcased her skills with a 4-under 67, securing a one-shot lead as she sits at 14 under overall. Kyriacou's impressive performance included seven birdies, propelling her to the top of the leaderboard.

Trailing closely behind Kyriacou are Ayaka Furue of Japan and Lauren Coughlin from the United States, both tied for second place. Furue, the overnight clubhouse leader, carded a 70, while Coughlin shot a remarkable 65, thanks to two eagles during her round.

Reflecting on her position, Kyriacou expressed her focus on maintaining patience and learning the nuances of the course. Despite not having been in contention in a major before, she finds the experience exciting and is looking forward to the final round.

Defending champion Celine Boutier of France faced early struggles with a triple bogey at the start of her round, setting a challenging tone for the day. Despite her efforts to recover, Boutier finished with a 69, trailing Kyriacou by 11 strokes.

Looking ahead to the final day of the championship, Boutier remains optimistic about her performance and aims to bounce back from the setbacks faced during the third round.

As the competition intensifies, the stage is set for an exciting conclusion to the Evian Championship, with Kyriacou leading the pack and her closest competitors eager to challenge her for the title.
