Steph Curry wants Warriors to visit Oracle Arena one more time

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is absolutely hoping for return, however brief, to the home he helped build across the bridge in Oakland.

Curry spoke candidly about the possibility of playing at least one more game in the fabled Oracle Arena:

“Of course we should play at least one more game before it’s all said and done back there,” Curry told NBC Sports Bay Area on the latest episode of “Dubs Talk,” which debuted Monday. “Just to kind of relive the old days.”

Curry entered the league in 2009 and immediately became a fan favorite at Oracle.

The team made the move to the Chase Center in 2019, after 48 seasons in Oracle, which served as home base for three Warriors NBA championships (2015, 2017, and 2018), the greatest regular season in NBA history in 2016, and the ‘We Believe’ iteration of the team in 2007.

For a team that has had the type of road struggles that the Warriors have, any type of home cooking, no matter the arena, would be welcome.

The magic of Oracle may never be replicated but it’s nice to take a moment to relive the great times.
