Steph Curry made history once again on Friday night as he scored 20 points in the Golden State Warriors' 132-108 victory over the Sacramento Kings. This achievement marked Curry as the 21st player in NBA history, and the first from the Warriors, to score 20 or more points in 700 games. Head coach Steve Kerr expressed his amazement at Curry's accomplishment, calling it 'pretty impressive'.
Curry reached the 20-point mark by shooting 7-for-13 from the field, including four three-pointers and two successful free throws. Moses Moody and Buddy Hield led the Warriors in scoring with 22 points each, while Brandin Podziemski contributed 21 points.
Following the trade deadline, the Warriors have shown improvement, especially with the addition of Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat. The team has gone 4-1 with Butler in the lineup, with the veteran player making significant contributions in their recent games.

Currently sitting in ninth place in the Western Conference, the Warriors are focused on making a push for the playoffs in the remaining 27 games of the season. Curry emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum and energy as they strive to climb the standings.
Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Cleveland Cavaliers, leaders of their respective conferences, returned from the All-Star break with dominant performances. The Thunder defeated the Utah Jazz 130-107, while the Cavaliers secured a convincing 142-105 victory over the New York Knicks.
