Steph Curry (hand) not listed on Warriors injury report for contest against Pistons on Tuesday

On Sunday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Steph Curry missed the contest for the Golden State Warriors due to a hand injury.

During the Warriors’ victory over the Chicago Bulls on the road, Curry appeared to injure his hand on a hard fall after a layup attempt in the second quarter. The seven-time All-Star played the rest of the game, scoring 19 points in 28 minutes, but was ruled out on Sunday against the Timberwolves with right-hand soreness.

However, it looks like Curry’s absence won’t be for long. On Monday, Curry’s name wasn’t listed on Golden State’s injury report for Tuesday’s contest against the Detroit Pistons.

Without Curry, the Warriors suffered a blowout loss to the Timberwolves to close a four-game road swing, 119-99.

Curry is posting a potential Most Valuable Player campaign, averaging 26.3 points per game on 42.1% shooting from the field and 38.4% shooting from long distance.

On Tuesday, Curry will re-join Klay Thompson in Golden State’s backcourt against 2021 No. 1 overall pick Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. PT at San Francisco’s Chase Center.
