Stein: Teams around the league think Zach LaVine is ‘in play’

The rumors and speculation regarding the future of Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine continue to hit your timeline as the offseason quickly approaches.

The two-time All-Star is set for unrestricted free agency this summer and will have plenty of suitors vying to sign him away from the Chicago Bulls.

ESPN’s Brian Windhorst said last week on “The Hoop Collective Podcast” that he doesn’t think ‘Zach LaVine wants to leave’ but other sources around the league may say otherwise.

NBA Insider Marc Stein said in on Spotify Live that teams around the league think that LaVine is ‘in play.’

“How gettable Zach LaVine is remains a matter of debate, although I will say around the league, I do get the sense from teams that do think he’s in play.”

During exit interviews, LaVine said that he will ‘enjoy free agency’ this offseason for the first time in his career.

LaVine is eligible for a five-year, $212 max contract from the Bulls once free agency kicks off on July 6.
