It wasn’t always the smoothest of rides for Stefon Diggs over the past four years as a member of the Buffalo Bills with some of his gripes and the cryptic tweets that led to a cycle of trade talk.
But there’s no doubt he was a star in Western New York and he was embraced by the always-passionate Bills Mafia.
In an Instagram post, Diggs said goodbye the fanbase: “I can’t begin to express the amount of love and respect I have for the city of Buffalo,” he wrote.
“Four of the best years of my life, the city welcomed me with open arms. I’m forever grateful for you all and the [Bills] organization!” it continued. “Something special was built over these years with some very special men, that will always have a place in my heart. Billsmafia, so many great memories created throughout the years. Those games were crazy because of you. Sadly good things come to an end until we meet again.”
