Stefan Bajcetic handed huge FIFA 23 upgrade after impressive Liverpool breakthrough

Some immense midfield performances have seen Stefan Bajcetic become a regular in Liverpool's squad, and the youngster has now been awarded a huge rating upgrade in FIFA 23.

After receiving some sporadic cameos in the early stages of the season, Bajcetic has recently established himself as one of the first names on Jurgen Klopp's team sheet, with the Spaniard having started the last five games in a row. The pinnacle of his Liverpool career so far came in Monday's night Merseyside derby victory, where the 18-year-old was awarded man of the match for a dominant display in the 2-0 win over Everton.

Described by Mohamed Salah as the Reds' best player since his introduction to the team, heaps of praise has been thrown at Bajcetic, with his performances a silver lining in an underwhelming season for Klopp's side. And, it's not just the Liverpool faithful that have picked up on Bajcetic's impressive campaign so far, with EA Sports handing the Spaniard a huge upgrade in the latest FIFA 23 squad update.

The talk of the town, Bajcetic was only added to FIFA 23 in late October last year, with the Spaniard not part of the original Liverpool FIFA 23 squad. Introduced with a rating of 61/99, the midfielder was extremely raw and had the second-lowest rating in the squad.

In January, the 18-year-old received his first upgrade, with a host of stats increasing along with his overall rating from 61 to 63. And now, Bajcetic has been handed his biggest upgrade yet, with 16 of his in-game stats being raised whilst his overall rating has increased from 63 to 66.

As well as a +3 upgrade to his overall rating, his potential rating has also been boosted, jumping from 82 to 84 overall, showing how good he could become in the future. Bajcetic's biggest stat upgrade is his Dribbling, increasing by seven ratings from 63 to 70.

His Stamina (64) and Composure (72) have both increased by six ratings, whilst his Ball Control (70) has grown by five. Some other upgrades have been awarded to his Short Passing (68), Acceleration (68), Reactions (62), Interceptions (65), Sprint Speed (64), Agility (64), Strength (56), Aggression (68), Vision (64), Marking (62), Standing Tackle (65) and Sliding Tackle (64).

In the same squad update, 15 Liverpool players were handed downgrades after a tough start to the new year, with Andrew Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson and Joel Matip all receiving downgrades to their overall ratings. Bajcetic is still a fair distance away from the ratings of his fellow midfielders, but at this rate, we can expect to see the Spaniard receive a few more upgrades before the end of the season.

Do you think Bajcetic could become an important player for Liverpool during the rest of the season? Let us know in the comments below!
