Steelers WR George Pickens casually rips Browns after Week 12 loss

In a snowy Week 12 “Thursday Night Football” matchup, the Pittsburgh Steelers fell to the Cleveland Browns, 24-19, at Huntington Bank Field. The game was marked by heavy snowfall, creating challenging conditions for both teams.

Steelers wide receiver George Pickens expressed frustration post-game, stating:

I don’t really think the Cleveland Browns are a good team at all. I think the conditions kind of saved them today.

Pickens didn’t beat around the bush about how he feels about the Browns, even though they were clearly the better team.

Cleveland secured the win with a late 2-yard touchdown run by Nick Chubb, leaving just 57 seconds on the clock. This decisive play capped off a comeback after the Steelers had taken a 19-18 lead earlier in the fourth quarter.

Pittsburgh’s offense, led by quarterback Russell Wilson, struggled to adapt to the snowy conditions. Wilson completed 21 of 28 passes for 270 yards and a touchdown but could not engineer a successful drive in the game’s final moments.

Defensively, the Steelers faced challenges containing the Browns’ ground game. Myles Garrett’s impactful performance, including multiple sacks, kept Pittsburgh from getting into a rhythm.

The loss snapped the Steelers’ five-game winning streak and tightened the AFC North race, with the Baltimore Ravens closing in on the division lead.

Despite the setback, Pittsburgh remains a strong contender in the playoff picture.
