Steelers vs Seahawks: 3 keys to victory this week

This week the Pittsburgh Steelers head out West to take on a Seattle Seahawks with as much to play for as Pittsburgh. The Seahawks have been inconsistent on both sides of the football and the same can be said for the Steelers. Pittsburgh needs to play as well as they did last week against the Cincinnati Bengals and here are the keys to victory.

Play up to Rudolph's level

The best player on offense last week was quarterback Mason Rudolph and his teammates all elevated their play. We want to see the Steelers offense step up again this week and support Rudolph.

Big plays from backups

Last week the reserves and and guys in new spots really stepped up and that must continue. Guys like linebacker Myles Jack, safety Eric Rowe and cornerback-turned-safety Patrick Peterson all played great and this has to continue.

Minimize the damage of the Seahawks receivers

With Patrick Peterson at safety, the Steelers secondary has their work cut out trying to stop Tyler Lockett, D.K. Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Not to mention tight end Noah Fant and running back Zach Charbonnet who both have more than 25 receptions.
