It is Tuesday and the Pittsburgh Steelers have to get back to work. There’s no time to sit around and feel sorry for themselves after getting routed by the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. It is not the time to panic but if this sort of loss doesn’t prompt some level of changes, nothing will. Here are four things we want to see happen this week.
A change at punter
We have all been patient with Pressley Harvin III but how much longer can the team hold onto him with his problems punting?
Activate Breiden Fehoko to the 53-man roster
The injury to Cam Heyward makes this one a must but even before that, getting Fehoko on the roster was a must. Heyward’s loss just means is must happen now.
More reps for Joey Porter Jr.
Rookie cornerback Joey Porter Jr. only played seven snaps while Patrick Peterson and Levi Wallace both struggled. Peterson on the outside was a mess but Porter could allow him to move inside.
A little more MInkah Fitzpatrick
It was disheartening last week seeing the only thing Minkah Fitzpatrick did was get some tackles. in 2021, Fitzpatrick was forced to be relegated as a run stuffer and it hurt the entire defense.
