Not to be outdone by teammate George Pickens, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson hauled in a ridiculous catch himself at training camp practice.
We re-watched the video several times to be sure but in the final analysis, Johnson was in and that was a legal catch. This play is made so much more impressive when you consider Johnson is only 5-foot-10 whereas Pickens is a full 6-foot-3.
One of the big storylines to watch this season is how these two talented playmakers work together and play off of one another when in all likelihood, both players want to be the top target of quarterback Kenny Pickett and the team’s top receiver.
On paper, it feels like having two receivers this good is a great problem to have. You can toss Allen Robinson and Pat Freiermuth into the mix as well. That puts a tremendous amount of pressure on a young quarterback when it comes to distributing the football.
DIONTAE JOHNSON WANTS IN ON THE FUN!!!!
