Steelers tab Russell Wilson as starting quarterback

Mike Tomlin has given the keys to the Pittsburgh Steelers offense to Russell Wilson.

In what was far from a surprise, the veteran will get the call when the Steelers open on Sept. 8 at Atlanta.

The second week is far more intriguing as Pittsburgh travels to Denver to face the Broncos.

Denver is the team that bailed on Wilson after two unsuccessful seasons.

We’re sure the Orange Crush will be in full throat booing the veteran.
