Much to the dismay of the Pittsburgh Steelers and their Black and Gold faithful, the AFC’s Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans share one unfortunate common statistic with the Steel City.
As Steelers fans are painfully aware, Pittsburgh’s last victory occurred more than a month ago—a dismal statistic the team shares with only the Browns and Titans, arguably the two worst teams in the NFL based on their records and projected draft positions.
The Steelers’ five-game losing streak—a frustration the franchise hasn’t endured since 2009—highlights the glaring incompetence of the Black and Gold coaching staff. With that in mind, finding reasons for optimism feels impossible, especially when the team appears more aligned with the Browns and Titans than with legitimate playoff contenders.
The real question remains: what will it take for the Pittsburgh Steelers organization to accept their fate and commit to a rebuild? Fans understandably hope for a quick reload, but heading into the 2025 offseason, that scenario seems far from reality.
