It’s going to be a long day as the Pittsburgh Steelers and their fans sit around and wait to see their playoff fate. Pittsburgh beat the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday but now have to see how Sunday’s slate of games plays out to know if they will make the playoffs.
If the Steelers do make the playoffs, it’s going to be a mix of good news and bad news about who will be in the game. The Steelers lose outside linebacker T.J. Watt on Saturday and if the reports are true that he suffered a torn MCL, he will not be available no matter how deep the Steelers make it in the playoffs.
But there is a silver lining. After Saturday’s win over the Ravens, safety Minkah Fitzpatrick said that if Pittsburgh makes the playoffs, he will be available to return. Fitzpatrick has missed the last three games with a knee injury.
