In the second half of the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers have been one of the best teams in the league. They are 3-1 since their bye week and have won two in a row. But is it all for naught? Not according to running back Najee Harris.
Harris has been one of the most improved players on the team since the bye and he has parlayed that production into optimism and says the team is winning games and still have the playoffs on their mind.
“We’re in the business of winning,” Harris said. “We’re in the business of making the playoffs. I would be lying if I said that that’s not something that we’re into or looking at.”
Technically, the Steelers are only two games out of the final wild card spot with five games to play despite being the No. 12 seed in the AFC. You have to appreciate the optimism of Harris and if it pushes them on to keep winning, so be it. They will need plenty of help in addition to going 5-0 in these final five games to actually sneak into the playoffs but when it comes to the NFL you have to expect the unexpected.
