The problems with the Pittsburgh Steelers offense are obvious and the blame can be spread around. And this latest revelation courtesy of quarterback Mitch Trubisky does nothing to clarify things.
According to Trubisky, he isn’t allowed to call audbiles in all situations and what freedom he does have to do it is still something the team is trying to figure it out.
“We’re still figuring out when it’s a good time for me to audible,” Trubisky said.
Trubisky is a six-year NFL veteran and has been named to the Pro Bow. What exactly is the delay on giving the man full audible privledges? If the coaches don’t trust a guy with this much experience to make a change, what hope does rookie Kenny Pickett have?
Let us know in the comments what you think about this and who do you think is to blame for the team’s offensive struggles. If the team doesn’t have the confidence in Trubisky, maybe it is time to either let him play his game or bench him in favor of Kenny Pickett.
