One of the most interesting cornerback prospects in the 2023 NFL draft is former Georgia star Kelee Ringo. He is a classic low-floor/high-ceiling prospect who has all the physical tools in the world but needs to work on his game from the neck up. He’s also on the Pittsburgh Steelers radar and will be one of their pre-draft visits.
Pittsburgh swapped out starting cornerbacks to kick off free agency by signing Patrick Peterson to replace Cameron Sutton. Sutton signed a free-agent contract with the Detroit Lions. But this move doesn’t preclude the Steelers from looking at a cornerback in the draft.
The upside of Ringo’s game is enticing and the fact he’s outside of the top four or five cornerbacks in the draft means Pittsburgh might be able to land him with the No. 32 pick and not be forced to use their No. 17 pick on a position that won’t play right away.
Georgia CB Kelee Ringo has Top 30 visits scheduled with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Las Vegas Raiders, per source.
He's also scheduled to meet with the Colts, Seahawks, and Broncos prior to Georgia's Pro Day tomorrow.
