As expected, the Pittsburgh Steelers named their secondary coach, Teryl Austin, as their new defensive coordinator.
Austin, who joined the Steelers in 2019, is replacing Keith Butler who retired in January. He worked as defensive coordinator for the Detroit Lions (2014-2017) and most recently for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2018.
