After Thursday’s 20-16 win over the Tennessee Titans helped the Pittsburgh Steelers improve to 5-3 and put them in second place in the division based on division record. The Baltimore Ravens are on top at 7-2 while the rest of the division is knotted up at 5-3.
But according to ESPN, the Steelers are still the biggest longshot of the bunch to make the playoffs or win the division. Here is how the most current odds break down after NFL Week Nine.
Ravens: 96.1% (74.8% to win the division)
Browns: 54.6% (8.7)
Bengals: 53.9% (8.5)
Steelers: 47.6% (8.0)
The Steelers are 2-0 in the division with wins over the Browns and Ravens. Four of the Steelers final nine games are in the division including both matchups with the resurgent Cincinnati Bengals.
This week the Steelers take on the Green Bay Packers at home with a great chance to be 6-3. In the Steelers first eight games, the Steelers have been outgained in every game but have been able to keep winning because of a stout defense and splash plays.
