Steelers kicker Chris Boswell will not play against Eagles

PITTSBURGH — The Steelers will be without kicker Chris Boswell for Sunday’s game against the Eagles after he injured his groin late in the week. Boswell showed up on the injury report Friday and had been listed as questionable before being downgraded to out Saturday afternoon.

The Steelers will sign Nick Sciba, who was with the Steelers this summer in training camp. He played in college at Wake Forest.

The Steelers also downgraded reserve cornerback Josh Jackson from questionable to out.

Boswell is 12 for 16 on field goal attempts this season.
