Steelers hosting two offensive linemen for workouts amid injuries

After an Achilles tear ended the season for one of the Steelers’ most consistent offensive linemen, James Daniels, Pittsburgh is looking to bring in some much-needed depth for the o-line. On Monday, the team hosted both J.D. DiRenzo and Garret Greenfield for workouts.

DiRenzo offers versatility at both guard or tackle in the NFL, having played both for Rutgers University before entering the NFL in 2023.

Greenfield, who signed with the Seahawks after going undrafted in 2024, is experienced at both tackle positions, but only started at the left tackle position during preseason before being released by Seattle.

Steelers fans can sleep easier knowing that their team is on the cusp of rebuilding its offensive line depth, which has been utterly decimated after losing three members of the unit to season-ending injuries.  Pittsburgh will look to rebound at home in Week 5 versus the Cowboys after a heartbreaking loss in Week 3 against the Indianapolis Colts.
