Wednesday is a busy day for the Pittsburgh Steelers. According to ESPN reporter Brooke Pryor, the Steelers are bringing in four NFL draft prospects for pre-draft visits. This includes former Oklahoma offensive tackle Anton Harrison.
Harrison is one of the top offensive tackles in the draft and among the five or six tackles in the mix for the first round. The Steelers have put in work to improve the interior offensive line but still need at least one new starting offensive tackle.
The strength of Harrison’s game is pass protection where his length and athleticism allow him to mirror speed rushers and the strength to hold off a bull rusher. If there is a run on offensive tackles in the first round, Harrison could be an option at No. 17. Truth be told, if Harrison is the target, Pittsburgh might be able to make a trade back and get some additional picks.
