Steelers EDGE Alex Highsmith deletes Twitter account

We live in an age where the way someone handles their social media is often an indication of what is happening in their life. We aren’t here to make any speculation but we have to wonder why Pittsburgh Steelers edge rusher Alex Highsmith chose to delete his Twitter account on Friday.

Highsmith’s Instagram remains with his most recent post three days ago. This doesn’t seem to be team related as Highsmith has had a strong camp and just got a huge new contract. The Steelers are currently two days away from kicking off the regular season with a showdown against the San Francisco 49ers.

We do hope that whatever is happening with Highsmith, it is nothing serious as the man is always more important than the player.
