Steelers star defensive tackle Cameron Heyward was officially activated from the injured reserve list ahead of the team’s matchup against the Titans on Thursday Night Football.
Heyward hasn’t played since Week 1 vs. the 49ers when he injured his groin area. He underwent surgery and was put on the injured reserve list. He’s logged two full practices this week.
The six-time Pro Bowler essentially confirmed the news by posting a line from the 2014 movie John Wick. The first image says “People keep asking if I’m back, and I haven’t really had an answer,” followed by “I’m thinking I’m back.”

Last season, Heyward totaled 74 tackles and 10.5 sacks.
