Steelers CB Cameron Sutton agrees to terms with Lions

According to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport, Pittsburgh Steelers free-agent cornerback Cameron Sutton has agreed to terms with the Detroit Lions. According to Rapoport, the deal is three years, worth $33 million with $22.5 million in guaranteed money.

Sutton emerged as the Steelers top cornerback in 2022 after Ahkello Witherspoon went down with an injury. For the season, Sutton had 43 total tackles, three interceptions and 15 passes defended.

With Sutton headed to Detroit, the draft needs of the Steelers now shift. Pittsburgh will have to find an adequate replacement for Sutton to pair up with Levi Wallace whether it is via the draft or free agency.
