The Pittsburgh Steelers have been very busy this week shuffling their 53-man and practice rosters to account for the long list of injuries. The Steelers are preparing to square off against the Cleveland Browns this week and it isn’t clear just who will be available.
Having said that, the Steelers announced multiple roster moves on Friday.
Buy Steelers TicketsThe Steelers placed defensive tackle Cam Heyward on IR. They also released cornerback Anthony Brown from the practice squad. Pittsburgh promoted wide receiver Dez Fitzpatrick to the active roster to replace Diontae Johnson this week.
Pittsburgh also brought back running back Greg Bell and cornerback Luq Barcoo to the practice squad. To make room, the team placed cornerback Josiah Scott on the practice squad injured list.
The Steelers are preparing to take on the 1-0 Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football. Multiple players missed or were limited on Thursday’s practice report.
