Steelers add 2 players to active roster ahead of Saturday’s game vs Ravens

On Saturday afternoon, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced they had added two players to the active roster. Pittsburgh is taking on the Baltimore Ravens in the Wild Card round of the playoffs on Saturday night.

The Steelers elevated offensive tackle Calvin Anderson and wide receiver Jamal Agnew to the roster and there’s a possibility both will be active Saturday night. Anderson returned to practice last week after being on IR but could be the primary backup offensive tackle with the potential of Spencer Anderson getting the start at right guard. Starter Mason McCormick is dealing with a broken hand.

The elevation of Agnew allowed the Steelers to re-sign wide receiver Scotty Miller to the practice squad. Pittsburgh also released safety Ayo Oyelola from the practice squad.
