Last season, the Pittsburgh Steelers faced an absolute gauntlet of a schedule, especially in the first half. This, paired with adjusting to a new quarterback, made for a brutal start to the season. But in 2023, the road might get a little easier.
According to NFL analyst Warren Sharp, the Steelers played the second-toughest schedule in the league in 2022. And against the top teams, Pittsburgh didn’t fare well.
But based on a projected schedule for 2023, the Steelers have the 11th-easiest slate in the NFL. Now, we all know games aren’t played on paper and a lot can change by the time the season starts. But even with that schedule last year, the Steelers still almost made the playoffs. With the improvements Pittsburgh has made, they should play every game close again this season.
Sharp has the Steelers’ over/under for wins at 8.5 this season. The team won nine games in 2022. Do you take the over or the under for 2023 at 8.5 games? Let us know in the comments.
