Statistical breakdown: How the Commanders and Patriots stack up ahead of Week 9 game

The Washington Commanders (3-5) face the New England Patriots (2-6) on Sunday in a battle between two struggling franchises. Things are so bad in New England that some have speculated about the future of legendary head coach Bill Belichick.

Washington has its own veteran head coach on the hot seat. After last week’s loss to the Eagles, Ron Rivera’s record as head coach of the Commanders dropped to 25-32-1.

How do these teams stack up? The numbers aren’t pretty.

We’ve got you covered.
