Station 19 Season 7 To Be The Final Season

Station 19's final season premieres on March 14, 2024, after Grey's Anatomy.

After months of delays, Station 19 will return to ABC on March 14, 2024, at its original time slot right after Grey’s Anatomy. This season will be the final one for the popular firefighter series, much to fans' surprise.

Following the December 2023 cancellation announcement, show creator and executive producer Shonda Rhimes expressed gratitude for the show's run and the exceptional cast on Instagram. Disney Television Group president Craig Erwich also acknowledged the show's impact on the ABC lineup.

Season 7 of Station 19 will consist of only 10 episodes, with the previous season's cast returning for the final installment. The season will debut on March 14, 2024, at 10 p.m. ET, following Grey’s Anatomy.

The returning cast includes Jaina Lee Ortiz, Jason George, Grey Damon, Barrett Doss, Jay Hayden, Danielle Savre, Boris Kodjoe, Stefania Spampinato, Carlos Miranda, Josh Randall, and Merle Dandridge.

The season 6 finale left fans in suspense after a dramatic event at the Firefighters Ball, with the fate of several characters uncertain. New showrunners Peter Paige and Zoanne Clack have promised more twists and turns in season 7.

The trailer for season 7, released in January 2024, hints at ongoing drama and picks up where the previous season left off. The show will continue to be available for streaming on Hulu the day after airing.

Despite being set in Seattle, Station 19 is primarily filmed in Los Angeles, with the exterior shots of the fire station filmed in Seattle. The decision to set the series in Seattle was important to the creators to showcase the city.
