The custody suite of a Nottingham court was forced to temporarily close due to a maintenance issue. The suite was shut for a period of time on Wednesday, May 4, at Nottingham Magistrates' Court.
It was was said to have resulted in a number of court cases being moved to Mansfield Magistrates' Court. In a statement issued at around 2.30pm, HM Courts and Tribunals Service said the problem had been fixed.
A spokesperson said: “The custody suite at Nottingham Magistrates Court will reopen shortly after it was temporarily closed due to a maintenance issue which has now been fixed.”
