Statement as emergency services called to house fire Nuthall

Emergency crews were called to a house fire in Nuthall. The incident in Horsendale Avenue was reported just after 8pm on Saturday, August 6.

The fire started on the first floor of the building and crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, two thermal imaging cameras and a 'positive pressure ventilation fan'.

The fire was put out by 8.41pm and crews remained at the scene to clear the smoke until the incident was declared over at 9.14pm. A spokeswoman for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was unclear if anyone was injured.
