Statement after emergency services called to house in Clifton

Emergency services have responded to reports of a fire in Clifton on Friday, April 15. Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue services said emergency crews responded to reports of a kitchen fire in Manesty Crescent. Three fire engines were at the scene.

The incident is understood to have been reported at around 8am on Friday, April 15. An ambulance was also seen at the scene. The Fire Service confirmed the incident had been dealt with swiftly and the crews left the scene shortly after.

It comes after a large fire was reported in Clifton on Thursday evening, at the former college site in Farnborough Road. Emergency services remain at the scene on Friday morning.

An investigation into the cause of the incident is understood to be due to take place on Friday after the was reported at 7:44 on Thursday evening, where the building was described as being well alight.
