The Minnesota Vikings have been praised for how well their new training staff has performed. Despite their performance, it hasn’t all been perfect.
According to The Star Tribune, head trainer Uriah Myrie and assistant trainer Connor Whicker were both fined for practicing without a license. Myrie was fined $1,000 and Whicker $500 along with being given conditional licenses. The board said that the licenses can be made unconditional via petition and providing both home and workplace addresses.
The issue with Myrie and Whicker was brought to their attention when they applied for their licenses in June after having already started working for the Vikings.
Both trainers returned to work on March 13th on their conditional licenses.
