A raid on a stash house in Kensington saw police seize £50,000 in suspected dirty cash alongside a significant quantity of Class A drugs.
The raid occurred at a property in Smithdown Lane this morning (July 8) and resulted in the arrest of a 25-year-old man, of no-fixed-address, on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply and possessing criminal property. Merseyside Police said he remains in custody where he is being questioned by detectives.
Local Policing Inspector Dave Uren said: "The man arrested will now be questioned and we're pleased to have removed from the streets drugs capable of causing significant harm in our communities, as well as what could be the criminal proceeds of this activity.
