The highly anticipated Starz series 'The Hunting Wives' has recently announced the addition of four new series regulars to its cast. Chrissy Metz, Jaime Ray Newman, Katie Lowes, and George Ferrier will be joining the ensemble alongside previously revealed cast members Malin Åkerman, Brittany Snow, Dermot Mulroney, and Evan Jonigkeit.
'The Hunting Wives' is a drama series that follows the story of Sophie (played by Brittany Snow) and her family as they relocate from the East Coast to deep East Texas. Sophie becomes entangled in the captivating world of socialite Margo Bank (portrayed by Malin Åkerman), leading to a narrative filled with obsession, seduction, and murder. The series is based on the novel by May Cobb, who also serves as an executive producer, with production currently underway in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Chrissy Metz will be taking on the role of Starr, a proud working-class woman and devout Christian who finds herself at odds with the elite social circle of the Hunting Wives. Jaime Ray Newman will portray Callie, a formidable figure married to Sheriff Jonny and deeply infatuated with Margo. Katie Lowes steps into the character of Jill, the wife of Reverend Clint, who is fiercely protective of her son Brad. George Ferrier will play Brad, a seemingly perfect Texan boy harboring dark secrets.
