Viewers tuning into ITV’s Starstuck last night were surprised to see a familiar face.
Although singer Treyc Cohen didn’t mention her talent show past, eagle-eyed fans remembered her from an iconic exchange with Cheryl on The X Factor back in 2010.
Singing for Cheryl at the Judges’ Houses stage, the Girls Aloud star told Treyc: “Whenever you’re ready.”
Treyc replied: “I’m ready,” prompting Cheryl to tell her: “You said that with some determination!”
That wasn’t the only thing viewers will remember Treyc for, as her appearance on The X Factor later sparked a voting row.
When Cheryl refused to choose between Katie and Treyc - who were both her acts - Treyc was the one who was sent home, despite Simon Cowell saying she was the better singer.

After being eliminated during the live shows in week five, the series was eventually won by singer Matt Cardle.
Such was the public backlash over Treyc at the time that Cheryl even threatened to quit The X Factor after feeling like she was ‘Public Enemy No.1’.
But she was talked round by her mum Joan and then boyfriend, dancer Derek Hough.
Although Treyc was booted off The X Factor, she has gone on to have a singing career in musical theatre, appearing on big West End Shows such as Hairsrpay and The Lion King.
And viewers were quick to spot her on last night’s Starstruck, where she performed a Chaka Khan tribute.
One viewer tweeted: “I have #starstruck on and I’m looking at one of the contestants like... I know you? I’ve seen you before?”
They continued: “It’s the iconic Treyc from X Factor ‘I’m ready’. I quote this moment on the daily."
A second commented: “LOSING MY MIND that the incredible Treyc ‘I’m ready’ Cohen from the iconic 2010 X Factor was on #Starstruck tonight as Chaka Khan. She has some determination.”
“OMG TREYC on #Starstruck I AM QUITE LITERALLY STARSTRUCK (and ready...),” a third added.
Treyc appeared on the first episode of series two of Starstruck, which kicked off on Saturday night.
The talent show sees superfans transformed into their idols, similar to Matthew Kelly’s Stars In Their Eyes.
But instead of one person on stage, there are three impersonators who are part of a team – with each team member taking a section of the song.
It is then down to judges Adam Lambert, Beverley Knight, Jason Manford and Shania Twain to pick which team is best. The audience will then vote who should go through to the series finale and be in with a chance of winning £50,000.
*Starstruck airs on Saturdays at 8.30pm on ITV
