Fans have defended actress Sheridan Smith after viewers criticised her appearance on a new singing show.
Sheridan was one of the new judges on ITV's Starstruck where contestants transform into their favourite stars and perform for the chance to win £50k.
But her appearance on Saturday night didn't go down well with some who commented that she was on the TV "every single night".

Sheridan recently starred in ITV's No Return as a mum whose family holiday in Turkey turns into a living hell after her son is arrested for a serious crime.
She was also in Channel 5's The Teacher as Jenna Smith whose life is turned upside down when she’s accused of sleeping with one of her students.
Viewers have defended the talented actress on Twitter, reports Birmingham Live.
Paul said: "Sheridan Smith may be on nearly everything at the minute, but she is brilliantly talented, so why not? #starstruck."
Charles wrote: "To be fair to Sheridan.... this was filmed middle of last year, I’m sure she didn’t choose it to be out now with the other 2 shows she is in. #Starstruck."
And Steve Clark added: "#Starstruck What a joy to see Sheridan Smith again x."
