Folk keen on clapping eyes on the Northern Lights here in Scotland might get another chance to do so on Sunday (March 20).
The natural light display made a stunning appearance in the skies above Scotland earlier this week - and were even captured by an amateur photographer in Maryhill of all places.
The Met Office space weather aurora forecast predicts that the aurora is expected to be at 'predominantly background levels', although they also note that there is a chance it could be visible in the skies above Northern Scotland tomorrow night.

Their most recent aurora forecast for the Northern Hemisphere, published this afternoon, reads: "The aurora is expected to be at predominantly background levels, with no significant enhancements.
"However, there is a chance of a slight enhancement from a glancing Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) on the 20th, but this is low confidence. Any effects from the CME, if they occur, may bring aurora as far south as northern Scotland."
A few lucky stargazers were able to catch sight of the phenomenon looking north towards Ben Lomond from Duck Bay last year, so it might be worth heading there tomorrow night.
