Stardew Valley Night Market Guide: Everything You Need To Know

Stardew Valley is a highly popular cozy farming sim that lets players explore a vast world while managing their own land.

Many players who have already played the game for quite some time will most likely be familiar with the Night Market, which is a min-festival that features the sale exotic items. These include furniture, goods, seeds, and many more.

Stardew Valley Night Market Guide

The first thing to know about the Night Market, especially for those who are not yet experienced in Stardew Valley, is that it takes place from Winter 15 to Winter 17. It will be on the Beach and is open from 5:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.

Another thing players should keep in mind is that the Submarine closes at 11:00 p.m. and the Mermaid Boat closes at 12:30 a.m. Remember that during the festival, time does not pause and will continue to pass, according to IGN.

As the Night Market is classified as a mini festival, this means that locations, stores, and houses will still be open during the day, unlike other full festivals.

Also, villagers will still go about their normal routines but there will be different groups of villagers who will visit the Night Market throughout its duration.

Each day of the mini festival will feature different NPCs and on Winter 15, these are Abigail, Clint, Emily, Harvey, Jas, Leah, Leo, Linus, Penny, and Shane.

On the second day, there will be Caroline, Demetrius, Haley, Lewis, Marnie, Maru, Robin, Sebastian, and Vincent. For Winter 17, these will be Alex, Elliott, Evelyn, George, Jodi, and Sam.

While other stores and locations are open during the day throughout the Night Market mini-festival, the Desert Trade will be closed in the Calico Desert. Instead, it will be available at the Night Market itself, where it gives out free coffee each night, said GameSpot.

A Variety of Content

The Fishing Submarine can be found on the west side of the Night Market and can take players underwater to do some fishing at the cost of 1,000G.

There will be three special fish that can only be caught during this time at this location; the Midnight Squid, Spook Fish, and Blobfish.

On the other hand, the Mermaid Show is located on the east side of the Night Market and when you enter the boat, the show will start. This will last one hour and 40 minutes of in-game time and you can stay afterward to discover the Mermaid Show secret.

There are various stores that will be open during this mini-festival that offer a variety of goods and products.

These include the Decoration Boat, Magic Boat, and Traveling Cart. Be sure to have enough money on hand to buy anything that you need while they are here, according to Sportskeeda.
