Starbucks opens new store in Cheadle - with free gifts for the first 150 customers

Starbucks has launched its latest coffee shop in Stockport — opening on Cheadle High Street.

Doors open to customers for the first time today (March 24), with the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony being performed by the Mayor of Cheadle, Councillor Sue Walley. The new store will create 14 jobs locally, Starbucks says.

Free gift bags will be given to the first 150 customers through the doors, with exclusive drink offers on social media for opening weekend, as well as on delivery within the first month. Customers can also save 25p per order if they bring a reusable cup in.

“We are excited to open our new store in Cheadle and look forward to welcoming

the local community,” Ellie Stevens, new store openings manager at operator Queensway, said. “The team will continue to closely follow the latest guidance from both the government and health authorities to keep everyone safe.”

Visitors getting their coffee-fix can enjoy free WiFi inside the shop, with delivery available on Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats. Customers can also order via the Starbucks UK App, and skip the queue and collect to take away.

Dairy-free alternatives are also on offer, with oat, soya, almond, coconut, and the Starbucks Original Nut Blend, available for free.

The new store is located at 33-35 High Street, Cheadle, SK8 1AX and open from 7:00am-18:00pm, Monday to Saturday and 7:30am-17:30pm, Sunday.
