A Starbucks coffee shop has opened at Newcastle International Airport creating 10 new jobs.
Arriving and departing passengers can enjoy a range of food and drink from the American chain which has opened a branch close to the airport's check-in desks this week. The new coffee shop has space for up to 70 customers to sit inside and offers free Wi-Fi.
Ten new jobs have been created by the opening and Newcastle airport bosses say it marks the start of improving the overall food and drink offering for passengers over the next 18 months.

Dean Ward, director of commercial at Newcastle International Airport, said: “We are delighted to welcome Starbucks back to Newcastle International Airport.
"Starbucks is well known for its quality products and excellent customer service, therefore I am sure it will prove popular with our passengers.
“It is our aim to provide the best possible experience for our passengers and the opening marks the start of a significant program of investment that will enhance the food and beverage offering at the airport over the next 18 months.”
