Starbucks announces return of Pumpkin Spice Latte and other autumn menu items

September is here, which means summer is behind us and we're well and truly looking forward to getting cosy in the crisp autumnal weather. Nothing quite says autumn like the Starbucks pumpkin spice latte - so fans of the delicious treat will be thrilled to hear it's back as of September 1.

But this year, it's not alone - it's being joined by the new pumpkin cream cold brew (from £3.80), which is landing in the UK after major success across the Atlantic. The new beverage sees Starbucks Cold Brew brewed in small batches, combining water with ground coffee.

Steeped for 20 hours to create a smooth coffee with a rich flavour, the pumpkin cream cold brew is infused with a touch of vanilla and topped with pumpkin cream foam, where vanilla cream is frothed and blended with pumpkin spice sauce to create layers of creamy texture and flavour. To finish, it’s dusted with pumpkin spice topping for an extra taste of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves.

Joining the pumpkin spice latte and the pumpkin cream cold brew is the iced salted maple and caramel latte (from £3.65) which sees Starbucks blonde espresso roast and milk infused with a salted maple sauce for a creamy and balanced taste. Poured over ice, the beverage is then topped with a crunchy caramel topping.

It's not just new drinks heading onto the autumn menu - the new American deli meats focaccia (from £4.59) and the vegetarian mushroom and egg muffin (from £3.40) will also be making an appearance, while vegans will be able to enjoy the plant-based fiery no' chicken wrap (from £4.20). Egg bites with three cheese and ham is also now available from £3.20.

To finish up with a sweet treat, there's a new toffee and apple muffin (from £2.19), a Starbucks espresso roast blondie (from £1.85) and a fruit and nut flapjack made with gluten free oats from £1.75. Blackberry and apple overnight oats (from £2.70) with plant-based yoghurt also complete the new autumnal line-up.

Just Cluysenaer, Food and Beverage Director, leading Starbucks beverage development and innovation, said: “Each year, our customers eagerly anticipate the return of the PSL, knowing that it officially marks the change in season.

“We’ve already made great advances in cold coffee innovation, and with a growing number of our customers drinking their coffee iced all year round, this year we are delighted to introduce a new iced, pumpkin beverage. Combining two of our customer’s favourite tastes, iconic pumpkin spice and our refreshing Cold Brew, each sip of Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew will deliver the familiar, creamy flavour of pumpkin spice followed by the uplifting coffee flavour of Starbucks Cold Brew."

The new beverages are available to enjoy from Starbucks stores and Drive Thrus across the UK while stocks last. You can also order via the Starbucks UK app, or through Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.

A combination of Starbucks Espresso Roast, pumpkin spice flavoured sauce and steamed milk, topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices – cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves. Vegan fans can enjoy the full PSL experience by ordering with a dairy alternative and choosing the Vegan Whipped Topping. You can also grab a new Pumpkin Mug or Reusable Cup, which you'll get a 25p reusable cup discount off your beverage if you bring back to store.

A new pumpkin coffee beverage has arrived. The innovative take on the seasonal favourite flavour of pumpkin is made with Starbucks Cold Brew, infused with flavours of vanilla and topped with silky pumpkin cream foam and a dusting of pumpkin spice topping.

Made with salami and mortadella slices, mozzarella, tomato relish, mayonnaise and fresh rocket in a rosemary topped focaccia, this American-Italian inspired option is like a charcuterie board in a sandwich.

This wholemeal muffin encapsulates autumn, made with roasted mushrooms, scrambled egg, bechamel and mature Cheddar cheese sauce with spinach – perfect for a vegetarian option.
