Arsenal were sensible in the January transfer window, with the additions of Jorginho and Leondro Trossard for combined fees of just under £40m plugging the holes which existed with the Gunners squad.
While they are good signings, they will not make waves within the world of football and with Chelsea having made headlines with this high profile captures of Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk, Arsenal and the Kroenkes may look to make a splash of their own this summer.
With Champions League qualification looking almost certain, further midfield reinforcements as well as extra quality in attack may be targeted with the Gunners having to stay fresh in order to compete at the top level of Europe.

They are boosted by having the youngest squad in the Premier League, but will need some additional top level experience this summer to compete with a number of teams who will be expected to be revitalised next season.
Here are some of the names tipped for a move to North London this summer:
Declan Rice - 9/4
The England midfielder was linked with a move to Arsenal in the closing days of the transfer window, but it was clear that West Ham would not be willing to part with their captain in the midst of a relegation battle.
The fee for the box to box midfielder could be £120m, with the Gunners set to battle with Chelsea for his signature. Arsenal have been made 9/4 favourites to sign Rice, with Manchester United 6/1 while Chelsea and Liverpool are both 7/1.
Moises Caicedo - 4/1
With his links to Arsenal in January leading to the player to release a social media statement, Caicedo and Rice were the main names in the frame before Jorginho was signed.
Arsenal are the favourites for a deal which could cost in the region of £80 million, but with Manchester United and Chelsea also in the mix, it could be a tricky pursuit.
James Maddison - 9/1
With their need for extra depth in the space between the midfield and attack, James Maddison could be an outsider for a place in the Arsenal squad next season.
Rated at 9/1, with Newcastle the favourites at 2/1, Maddison will only likely be pursued if deals for primary targets fall through, but he would be a popular player with fans given his creativity and set-piece ability.
Jude Bellingham - 16/1
With a similar price tag to Rice, Arsenal could make a splash in the transfer market and make a move for Jude Bellingham this summer. While landing both would make waves, it is likely to be a case of one or the other.
Arsenal are priced behind the main protagonists in the race to sign the 19-year old from Borussia Dortmund, with the Gunners priced at 16/1 as Real Madrid (2/1) and Liverpool (5/2) are the favourites.
